You do not need the numbers; you need just one customer.
The principle of one is a principle the best brands have understood and made use of, and its effect will blow you out of your mind.
Understanding the demographics, routine, unmet desires, requirements, uncertainties, purchasing power, and how relevant a product or service is to that specific individual is key.
Some small and big businesses that have failed over the years have made the huge mistake of focusing on a very large crowd or group of people, and in the process, lost the core target.
In the 48 laws of power, the 42 law says to strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter.
Time after time, we have seen this principle well understood and followed as we see countries spend millions of hard currencies to protect the number one citizens of their countries, and organizations spend so many resources to financially secure the boss.
It will be very important to understand the life cycle and decision drivers.
Understanding and proper labeling of this single customer or client are what is needed to make a business successful, and with the right mix it is expected to see this customer impressed, and when this happens, remember to get this customer’s review, nothing is small or much for a review, this review is a testament of what you offer, moving from there, encourage the customer to make a commitment of mentioning or talking about how effective your products or services are whenever the opportunity arises. This customer of course has people that share similar needs, interests, and problems to be solved, and this is why this customer is attached to being a friend to his or her friends in the first place, hence, you will be wowed with the referral this friend gets by telling a friend who may subscribe to the products or services and can tell another friend somewhere who shares same demographics, routine, unmet desires, requirements, uncertainties, purchasing power.
The point I am making boldly here is do not be caught focusing on so many people and ignoring the important and lost sheep, Jesus Christ had to look for, we were not told much about the attribution of this lost sheep, but we can deduce that this sheep is relevant.
Sometimes, posting on social media and expecting the world to like content or service is misleading except if you are in showbiz, if not, I expect you understand that posting relevant content and regularly targeting that special individual is the key.
So, as you go about your production and marketing, be clear of that special individual and meet him at a point of no resistance.
